3. Caregiver Slot System and Payment Terms

• Slot purchases are final and cannot be refunded under any circumstances
• Refunds will not be provided for unused slots, expired slots, or dissatisfaction with matching results
• No refunds for technical issues, platform downtime, or changes in personal circumstances
• Cancellation of accounts does not entitle users to refunds for purchased slots
• All slot purchases are subject to applicable taxes and processing fees

4. Matching Process and Algorithm

Our proprietary matching algorithm considers multiple factors to connect patients with suitable caregivers:

• Priority System: Caregivers are considered in order of slot purchase timing
• Compatibility Factors: Location, availability, skills, experience, and patient preferences
• Availability: Current slot availability and active status
• Performance: Response times, completion rates, and user ratings

While we strive to optimize matches, the algorithm's decisions are final. Users agree that they will not dispute matching decisions or seek compensation for unsuccessful matches.

5. Liability Disclaimers

• No Liability for Interactions: CareKonnect is not liable for any damages, injuries, disputes, or issues that arise from contacting or meeting with patients
• Independent Contractors: Caregivers are independent contractors, not employees of CareKonnect
• User Responsibility: Users are responsible for their own safety and due diligence when contacting matched parties
• Background Checks: While we perform background verification, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information
• Service Quality: We are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or satisfaction of care services provided

6. Caregiver Verification and Background Checks

CareKonnect makes reasonable efforts to verify caregiver information and conduct background checks:

• We verify professional licenses, certifications, and qualifications where applicable
• Background checks include criminal history, reference verification, and credential validation
• We review caregiver profiles for completeness and accuracy
• Caregivers must maintain current insurance and certifications

7. User Responsibilities

Patient Responsibilities:

• Maintain respectful communication with caregivers

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Purchase slots to access matching opportunities
• Respond promptly to match notifications
• Provide services in accordance with professional standards
• Maintain required insurance and certifications
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

8. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any local, state, or federal laws
• Attempt to circumvent platform security or access restrictions
• Share account credentials or access with unauthorized parties
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform
• Solicit or advertise competing services

9. Account Suspension and Termination

CareKonnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for violations of these terms:

• Violation of any terms or conditions
• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Repeated complaints or negative feedback
• Failure to maintain required certifications or insurance
• Non-payment of fees or charges

Account termination does not entitle users to refunds for purchased slots or services.
